An age as a possible factor affecting particular parameters of a spermiogram of men suffering from a defect of fertility

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá věkem, jako možným faktorem, ovlivňujícím jednotlivé parametry spermiogramu u mužů s poruchou plodnosti. V práci je popsán vývoj a stavba mužského pohlavního ústrojí, vznik a vývoj spermií, možné příčiny a faktory ovlivňující neplodnost, materiál, metodika a výsledky práce. Materiál pro tuto práci byl odebírán v období od 20.1.2009 do 24.4.2009 na klinice Unica s.r.o. Celkem bylo vyšetřeno 269 pacientů ve věkovém rozmezí 22 až 60 let. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky a popsány zjištěné skutečnosti. Bylo zjištěno, že s rostoucím věkem klesá objem ejakulátu a koncentrace spermií v ejakulátu, zhoršuje se kvalita pohybu spermií a snižuje se podíl morfologicky normálních spermií na úkor rostoucí patologií hlaviček a krčků spermii. Vliv věku na schopnost spermií přežít do druhého dne nebyl prokázán.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals with an age as a possible factor affecting particular parameters of a spermiogram of men suffering from a defect of fertility. The development and the construction of a male genital tract, the formation and the development of sperms, possible causes and factors affecting infertility, materiál, metodics and results of work are described in this work. The materiál for this work was taken in the period from 20.1.2009 to 24.4.2009 at the clinic Unica ltd. On the whole 269 patients were examined at the age of 22 to 60 years. The results and found facts were summarized and described at the end of this work. It was found that ejaculate volume and the sperm concentration in the ejaculate decreases with increasing age of a male and that the quality of sperm movement gets worse and moreover, the proportion of morphologically normal spermatozoa is reduced at the expense of increasing pathology of sperm heads and necks. The effect of age for sperm ability to survive to the next day wasn´t found.
