Comparsion of G Suite and Office 365 in a small business

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáním dvou kancelářských služeb Google G Suite a Microsoft Office 365. Hlavním cílem práce je sestavení rozhodovacího stromu, jehož výsledku mohou využít zejména vedoucí pracovníci malých podniků a firem při rozhodování mezi G Suite a Microsoft 365. Po představení pojmu cloud computing jsou v teoretické části popsány implementační modely cloudu a modely distribuce služeb. Dále je čtenář seznámen s porovnávanými produkty obou společností. V praktické části jsou pro sestavení rozhodovacího stromu a jeho vyhodnocení využity výsledky hodnocení cloudových služeb získané analýzou Kepner-Tregoe.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison between two office services, Google G Suite and Microsoft Office 365. The main goal of the thesis is to create a decision tree, which managers of small companies and businesses can use when deciding between G Suite or Office 365. After the concept of cloud computing is introduced, cloud deployment models and service models are described in the theoretical part. Furthermore, the user will be acquainted with the compared products of both companies. The practical part focuses on the evaluation of the cloud services obtained by the Kepner-Tregoe analysis used for the creation of the decision tree and its evaluation.
