Physico-chemical characterization of slag

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou strusky pomocí chemické analýzy a ostatních fyzikálně-chemických metod jako je infračervená spektroskopie, termická analýza, skenovací elektronová mikroskopie a rentgenová difrakční analýza. Dále byl stanoven měrný povrch strusky a velikost částic strusky. Pro experimenty byla použitá vysokopecní pemzová a granulovaná struska a jejich vypálené ekvivalenty na teplotu 400, 600, 800 a 1000 °C. K fyzikálně-chemické charakteristice strusky je nejvhodnější použít metodu infračervené spektroskopie a rentgenové difrakce, které podávají nejvíce informací o zastoupení jednotlivých složek ve struskách.

Abstract:

Thesis deals with physico-chemical characterization of slag using chemical analysis and infrared spectroscopy, thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. A specific surface area and particle size was determined. Two types of slag were studied in this thesis ? granulated blast furnace slag and slag pumice and their burned equivalents at a temperature 400, 600, 800 and 1000 °C. The infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction are the most suitable for the characterization of slag because these methods provide a lot of information about the distribution of the slags components.
