Abstract:
Práce popisuje životní dráhu Aleše Hrdličky, zastánce Slovanů ve Spojených státech, donátora československé vědy, antinacistu a světoobčana. Přispěl k dobrým mezinárodním vztahům USA a Československa mezi světovými válkami. Hrdlička byl zakladatelem vědeckého oboru antropologie v USA a v Československu v období první poloviny dvacátého století.
Abstract:
The thesis describes the career of Aleš Hrdlička defender of the Slavs in the USA donor of the Czechoslovak science, antinazi and cosmopolitan person. He contributed to a good international relations of the USA and Czechoslovakia. Hrdlička was the founder of the scientific discipline Anthropology in the USA as well as Czechoslovakia in the period of the begining of 20th. century.
