Thematic specificity in drawings of children inhabiting Asylum house

Abstract:

Cílem výzkumu bylo sledování a především porovnáváním rozdílů a specifika v dětské kresbě u dětí z azylového domu a u dětí žijících v klokánku. Dětská kresba je jedním z diagnostických prostředků. Jelikož jsou mi velmi blízké děti předškolního věku, se kterými pracuji, mám možnost pozorovat vznik kreseb přímo. A protože se často a ráda vídám s dětmi, které neměly to štěstí vyrůstat v úplné rodině, vidím i v jejich kresbách zajímavé životní příběhy. Kresba není jen hrou nebo sněním (i když je v sobě zahrnuje), ale obsahuje také realitu. Ve své práci se zabývám socializací, protože právě rodina je hlavní socializační činitel. Kresbě samotné, jejímu vývoji, významu, symbolice a také s kresbou souvisejícím diagnostickým aspektům. Ve druhé polovině bakalářské práce seznamuji četnáře s azylovým domem a klokánkem, jejich charakteristikou a principy. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiky dětí s jejich kresbami, které jsou doplněny mým hodnocením a komentáři pana doktora Hlouška. Došla jsem k závěru, že specifika kreseb není možné zcela určit. Děti z azylového domu i z klokánka zobrazují různá témata dle věku, jako všechny děti. Můžeme však zcela jasně určit, po porovnání těchto dvou organizací, že u dětí z azylového domu vyčteme z jejich kreseb nespokojenost se současným životem a touhu po změně. U dětí z klokánka naopak spokojenost a dobrou adaptaci na prostředí. Ne vždy tedy nutně přítomnost matky znamená spokojené dítě.

Abstract:

The aim of this research was to observe and compare the differences and particularities between the children’s drawings of children living in the shelters for mothers with children and those living in the children’s facilities called klokánek. Children’s drawing is one of diagnostic devices. Since I work with pre-school children, I have had the opportunity to see the birth of their drawings. I often meet children who were not lucky enough to grow up in complete families and as a result I can see interesting life stories in their drawings. Not only is a drawing a part of a game or a dream, although it is included in it, it also consists of reality. In the thesis, I deal with socialization as family is the main factor of socialization. The thesis concerns also a drawing itself, its developement, significance, symbolism and the diagnostic aspects of a drawing. The second half of the thesis is about the shelters for mothers with children and children’s facilities klokánek, their characteristics and principles. The practical part of my thesis comprises the case histories of children and their drawings which are supplemented with Dr. Hloušek’s comments. In conclusion, I have found out that we cannot completely define the particularities of drawings. Children from the shelters and from klokánek depict different themes based on their age as all children do it like this. But after comparing these two organizations, it is clear from the drawings that children living in the shelters for mothers with children are not satisfied with their current situation and they long for change. On the other hand, the children from klokánek seem to be content and well adapted to the environment. Which means that mother’s presence is not always essential for a child to be happy.
