The position of MND a.s. on the costumer gas market in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje postavení MND, a.s. na spotřebitelském trhu s plynem v České republice. MND, a.s. je známá především jako těžební společnost. Těžební činnost je jen jedna z mnoha, kterým se MND, a.s. věnuje, v posledních letech se do popředí dostává distribuce elektřiny a zemního plynu, kterému se tato práce věnuje. Cílem této práce je určení postavení společnosti na trhu spolu s její výkonností na něm. K určení postavení a výkonnosti jsou využity veřejně dostupné informace o této společnosti z různých zdrojů. Závěr práce se blíže věnuje finanční stránce společnosti, kde je znázorněna důležitost této komodity pro danou společnost.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is about the position of MND, a.s. on the costumer gas market in the Czech Republic. MND, a.s., is well known primarily as an extracting company. Extracting activity is just one of many other activities. In recent years, the distribution of electricity and natural gas is taking a part in this company. This thesis is about activities connected to natural gas. The aim of this work is to determine the position and performance of the company on the market with natural gas. Publicly available information about this company from various sources are used to determine position and performance. The end of this thesis is focused on the financial side of the company and shows how important this commodity is for the company.
