Effect of alcohol on athletic performance snowboard racers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vlivu alkoholu na sportovní výkon při jízdě na snowboardu. V teoretické části se práce zabývá dosud zjištěnými poznatky o vlivu alkoholu na sport, na lidský organizmus a vstřebávání alkoholu v těle, požívání alkoholu na českých sjezdovkách a sankce s nimi spojené, anketu, kolik lidí pije alkohol při jízdě na lyžích nebo snowboardu a jakému druhu alkoholu dávají přednost. Dále je v práci uvedena pohybová charakteristika jízdy na snowboardu a disciplíny tohoto sportu. Popis slalomu a freestylové řady, kterou výzkumný soubor absolvoval. Ve výzkumné části se práce zabývá popisem výpočtu alkoholu v krvi a testováním jezdců na snowboardu při požívání alkoholu. Veškeré měření je zaznamenáno do grafů a tabulek. V závěru práce řeší pravdivost hypotéz a vliv zkonzumovaného alkoholu na výzkumný soubor.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis addresses the influence of alcohol substances on athletic performance of snowboarding. The theoretical part of the thesis is dealing with so far established knowledge about the impact of alcohol on the sport, on the human body and the body's absorption of alcohol, consumption of alcohol on the Czech slopes and penalties associated with them, a poll how many people drink alcohol when skiing or snowboarding and what kind of alcohol they prefer. Furthermore, the thesis mentions physical characteristics of snowboarding and individual disciplines of this sport. There is also a description of slalom and freestyle riding, which the researched file experienced. The research part of the thesis describes the calculation of alcohol level in blood and testing the influenced snowboarders. All the measurements are reported in graphs and tables. The conclusion of the thesis addresses the veracity of hypotheses and the effect of consumed alcohol on the research file.
