Railway Infrastructure and Vehicles Accessibility for People with Visuall Impairment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce refletuje zkutečnost prakticky nevidomého autora s cílem zlepšit bezpečnost a orientaci zrakově postížených na železničních stanicích. První část se věnuje analýze leegislativy, druhá navrhuje úpravy na infrastruktuře a vozidlech, a třetí hodnotí efektivity navržených opatření. Autor zkoumá aktuální stav s tím, že navrhuje možná řešení v budoucnu. Vyžívaje nejen odborných zdrojů, ale i osobních zkušeností z cestování.

Abstract:

The bachelorś thesis reflects the experience of a practically blind author with author with the aim of improving the safety and orientation of the visually impaired at railway stations. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the legislation, the second proposes adjustments to the infrustructure and vehicles, and the third evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed measures. The author examines the current state while proposing possible solutions in the future. Using not only professional resources, but also experiences from travel.
