Diplomová práca sa v teoretickej časti venuje všeobecnému prehľadu poznania o stave riešenej problematiky terorizmu a vymedzeniu základných pojmov. Praktická časť diplomovej práce analyzuje teroristické útoky vo vybraných krajinách Európy z hľadiska ich typológie, aktérov a príčin.
