Abstract:

Úvod: Duševní zdraví je jednou z hlavních složek celkového zdraví jedince. Problematika duševního zdraví u adolescentů je v současné době aktuální téma, protože psychický stav dospívajících je alarmující. Cílem diplomové práce je vyhodnotit úroveň sebehodnocení na vzorku žáků základních škol a studentů středních škol v Moravskoslezském kraj. Metodika: V práci byly informace získávány pomocí dotazníkového šetření, a to na středních a základních školách v Ostravě v průběhu roku 2022. Dotazník zahrnoval otázky ohledně pohlaví, věku, doby strávenou spánkem a na sociálních sítích. Dále bylo v dotazníku 10 otázek, které jsou součástí Rosenbergovy škály sebehodnocení. Pro statistické vyhodnocení byl použit neparametrický Mann-Whitney test pro dva výběry. Kvalitativní znaky byly testovány chí-kvadrát testem. Vliv faktorů byl vyhodnocen pomocí hrubého OR (Odds Ratio) s 95 % IS (intervaly spolehlivosti) a binární logistické regrese, výstupem bylo plně adjustované OR. Statistické testy byly hodnoceny na hladině významnosti 5 %, pro zpracování byl použit program Stata verze 16. Výsledky: Ze všech 281 dotazovaných bylo 153 žen a 128 mužů. Průměrný věk respondentů byl 16 let. Nejvíce respondentů byl ve skupině 16 až 17 let, kdy tato skupina tvořila 49 % celého celku dotazovaných adolescentů. Nebyl potvrzen statisticky významný rozdíl mezi věkem a mírou sebehodnocení u dospívajících. V souvislosti s pohlavím byl prokázán statisticky významný rozdíl mezi sebehodnocením u mužů a žen. Ženy měly ve všech otázkách týkajících se Rosenbergovy škály sebehodnocení horší výsledky než muži. Na sociálních sítích trávilo nejčastěji 2 až 4 hodiny denně nejvíce respondentů, což bylo 36 % všech dotazovaných. Neprokázal se však statisticky významný rozdíl ve vztahu mezi dobou strávenou na sociálních sítích a mírou sebehodnocení. Byl prokázán statisticky významný vliv spánku na míru sebehodnocení. Bylo potvrzeno, že čím více dospívající denně spí, tím vyšší je jeho sebehodnocení. Alarmující je počet adolescentů, kteří spí denně méně než 6 hodin, kterých bylo v celku 15 %. Závěr: Z analýzy vzorku studentů vyplývá, že adolescenti mají podprůměrné sebehodnocení, na které má největší vliv pohlaví a doba strávená spánkem. Tyto výsledky se shodují i se zahraničními studiemi.

Abstract:

Introduction: Mental health is one of the main components of an individual's overall health. The issue of mental health in adolescents is currently a hot topic, because the psychological state of adolescents is alarming. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the level of self-assessment on a sample of primary school pupils and secondary school students in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Methodology: In the study, data was obtained using a questionnaire survey, namely at secondary and elementary schools in Ostrava during the year 2022. The questionnaire included questions about gender, age, time spent sleeping and on social networks. Furthermore, there were 10 questions in the questionnaire, which are part of Rosenberg's self-assessment scale. The non-parametric Mann-Whitney test for two samples was used for statistical evaluation. Qualitative features were tested with the chi-square test. The influence of factors was evaluated using crude OR (Odds Ratio) with 95 % CI (confidence intervals) and binary logistic regression, the output was fully adjusted OR. Statistical tests were evaluated at a significance level of 5 %, the Stata version 16 program was used for processing. Results: Out of all 281 interviewees, 153 were women and 128 were men. The average age of the respondents was 16 years. The largest number of respondents were in the 16- to 17-year-old age group, when this group made up 49% of the entire group of interviewed adolescents. A statistically significant difference between age and the level of self-esteem in adolescents was not confirmed. In connection with gender, a statistically significant difference between the self-assessment of men and women was demonstrated. Women performed worse than men on all questions related to the Rosenberg Self-Evaluation Scale. The majority of respondents spent 2 to 4 hours a day on social networks, which was 36 % of all respondents. However, there was no statistically significant difference in the relationship between the time spent on social networks and the level of self-esteem. A statistically significant difference was demonstrated for the importance of sleep on the self-assessment measure. It has been confirmed that the more teenagers sleep daily, the higher their self-esteem. Alarming is the number of adolescents who sleep less than 6 hours a day, which was 15 % in total. Conclusion: The analysis of the student sample shows that adolescents have a belowaverage self-esteem, which is most influenced by gender and time spent sleeping. These results also agree with foreign studies.
