Changes in the metabolome and transcriptome of cariogenic bacteria depending on external conditions
Abstract:
Kyseliny vznikající při fermentaci sacharidů kariogenními bakteriemi (Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus sp. a Actinomycetes sp.) jsou příčinným faktorem vzniku zubního kazu v dutině ústní. Cílem práce je analyzovat změny v metabolomu a transkriptomu kariogenních bakterií v závislosti na jejich kultivaci se specifickými sacharidovými substráty, případně s látkami s inhibičním potenciálem.
Abstract:
Organic acids produced by fermentation of carbohydrates by cariogenic bacteria (Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus sp. and Actinomycetes sp.) are the causative factors of dental caries in the oral cavity.
