Analysis of Success of New Banks Savings Accounts in the Czech Market

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku spořicích produktů, zvláště spořicích účtů. Zabývá se charakteristikou vývoje trhu se spořicími účty a změn, jež se na daném trhu odehrály v průběhu let 2010 až 2012. Především je zpracována analýza nabídek spořicích účtů čtyř vybraných bank ? Air bank, Equa bank, Fio banka a ZUNO Bank, jež identifikuje faktory vedoucí k tržnímu úspěchu těchto bank v oblasti spořicích účtů. V neposlední řadě jsou v práci uvedeny a analyzovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, jehož hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, které parametry spořicího účtu jsou pro respondenty klíčové.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the issue of savings products, particularly savings accounts. The thesis deals with characteristics of savings accounts market trends and with the changes that occurred during the years 2010 and 2012. Primarily, the analysis of the offers of the four selected banks savings accounts has been processed ? Air bank, Equa bank, Fio banka and ZUNO Bank. The analysis identifies factors leading to the market success of those banks in the field of savings accounts. Last but not least, in the thesis there are stated and analysed the results of the questionnaire survey. The main objective was to determine which parameters of the savings account are crucial for respondents.
