The thesis analyses the role of the presidents Václav Havel and Václav Klaus in the economic diplomacy of the Czech Republic and their influence on it. The aim is to find out if these actors engaged in economic topics, which importance they assigned to them and if their actions corresponded with the priorities of the Czech foreign policy defined by the ministry of foreign affairs.
