Democratic transition and the consolidation of democracy in Kyrgyzstan
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá přechodem k demokracii v Kyrgyzstánu. Autor se snaží klasifikovat politický režim od počáteční demokratizace po následné formování autoritarismu za použití teorie hybridních režimů a kritiky tranzitologického paradigmatu. Pozornost je věnována institutu voleb a vlivu klanových struktur na mobilizaci politického procesu.
Abstract:
The work deals with the transition to democracy in Kyrgyzstan. The author is trying to classify the political regime from democratization to the later formation of authoritarianism using the theory of hybrid regimes and criticism of transitological paradigm. Attention is paid to the electoral institute and the influence of clan structures on mobilization of the political process.
