Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem práce je zjistit dodržování standardních pokynů pro kojení v ČR a ověřit, zda nemocnice nesoucí titul Baby Friendly Hospital dodržují Deset kroků k úspěšnému kojení. Metodika: Soubor respondentek tvořil 245 žen 3. ? 4. den po porodu na oddělení šestinedělí. Výzkumu se zúčastnily ženy po spontánním porodu, po porodu císařským řezem i jiném operativním porodu, prvorodičky i vícerodičky, bez věkového limitu. Výzkum probíhal v měsíci prosinci 2012 až lednu 2013 v Nemocnici Přerov, ve Vítkovické nemocnici v Ostravě a v Nemocnici Šternberk. Všechny tři zmiňované nemocnice nesou titul Baby Friendly Hospital. Metodou sběru dat byl dotazník, vytvořený dle Standardních pokynů pro kojení v ČR, a dle sebehodnotícího dotazníku BFH. Výsledky: Šetřením bylo zjištěno, že matky nemají dostatečné informace o kojení. Na otázky týkající se této problematiky odpovídaly matky zcela náhodně a průkazně častěji špatně. Z výsledků také vyplývá, že informace, které by měly ženy dostat již v těhotenství, se jim nedostávají. Na otázky s tím související odpovídaly náhodně a průkazně častěji špatně. Odpovědi respondentek týkající se BFH a dodržování deseti kroků k úspěšnému kojení naopak nebyly náhodné a průkazně častěji na ně respondentky odpovídaly správně. Z testování vyplývá, že věk má výrazný vliv na vyšší počet správných odpovědí. Vzdělání a nemocnice neměla větší význam na počet správných odpovědí. Závěr: Těhotné ženy nedostávají takové informace, které doporučují ?Standardní pokyny pro kojení v ČR?. I přesto, že nemocnice s titulem BFH dodržují deset kroků, matky nemají dostatečné informace o technice kojení.

Abstract:

Target: The aim of this work is to determine the compliance of standard guidelines for breastfeeding in the Czech Republic, and to verify if the Baby Friendly Hospitals observe the ten steps for successful breastfeeding. Methodics: A group of respondents was composed of 245 women who were 3rd-4th day postpartum in a puerperium ward. Women after spontaneous birth, after caesarean delivery, and other operative deliveries, new mothers and multigravidas, no age limit took part in this research. The research took place in December 2012 and January 2013 in the Hospital Prerov, in Vitkovice Hospital in Ostrava and Hospital Šternberk. All mentioned hospitals have the title Baby Friendly Hospital. The data collection method was a questionnaire, created according to standard guidelines for breastfeeding in the Czech Republic, as well as self-assessment questionnaire of Baby Friendly Hospital. Results: In the research it was found out that mothers do not have enough information about breastfeeding. The questions regarding this issue were answered by mothers randomly and significantly more often poorly. The results also show, that the information, which women should receive during their pregnancy, is not given to them. Women answered the related questions randomly and significantly more often poorly. On the other hand the answers of the respondents related to BFH and the compliance with the ten steps for successful breastfeeding were not casual and the respondents answered these questions correctly. The testing shows that age has a major influence on the higher number of correct answers. Education and the hospital did not have essential importance for correct answers. Conclusion: Pregnant women do not receive as much information, as it is recommended by ?Standard guidelines for breastfeeding in the Czech Republic?. Even though the hospitals with the title BFH observe the ten steps, the mothers do not have sufficient information about breastfeeding technique.
