Kvasinky slouží jako užitečný modelový organizmus pro studium proteinů a jejich interakcí. Proteinový komplex Smc5/6 je důležitý při opravě poškozené DNA. Je konzervován u všech eukaryot. Abstract:
Yeasts are a useful model organism for studying of protein interactions. The Smc5/6 protein complex is important for DNA damage repair. The aim of this master thesis was to prepare and characterize four yeast Nse3 mutants of the Smc5/6 complex (Schizosaccharomyces pombe).
