This diploma thesis deals with the role of Local Action Groups in rural development. The thesis focuses on LAG Kras in Slovakia and LAG Moravský Kras in Czech Republic. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá úlohou miestnych akčných skupín pri rozvoji vidieka. Práca sa zameriava na MAS Kras na Slovensku a na MAS Moravský kras v Českej republike.
