Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s dílem Václava Václavoviče Michalského (1938-2024) a procesem překladu prvního dílu jeho románové hexalogie z pohledu překladatele, tj. s cestou od získání autorských práv, přes proces překladu až po vydání knihy.
