Tourism Marketing in the Central Bohemia with a Focus on the Region Příbramsko

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá potenciálem pro rozvoj domácího cestovního ruchu a destinačním managementem ve Středočeském kraji a konkrétně pak v regionu Příbramsko. V teoretické části práce jsou analyzovány prameny odborné literatury, východiska vztahující se k danému tématu a je vysvětlena odborná terminologie užitá v následném textu práce. Výsledková část práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení primární a sekundární nabídky regionu Příbramsko a činnosti subjektů participujících na destinačním managementu v regionu. Součástí práce je dotazníkové šetření realizované v segmentu návštěvníků domácího cestovního ruchu přijíždějících na Příbramsko. Na základě syntézy výsledků šetření jsou vyvráceny obě hypotézy vztahující se k tématu práce a rovněž je sestaven profil typického návštěvníka regionu Příbramsko. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty poznatky zjištěné dotazníkovým šetřením a zhodnoceno naplnění cílů této diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the potential for development of domestic tourism and destination management in the Central Bohemia region and more specifically in the Příbramsko region. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the sources of the specialized literature, the starting points related to the given topic and explains the professional terminology used in the subsequent text of the thesis. The result part of the thesis is focused on evaluation of the primary and secondary supply of the region of Příbramsko and the activities of the entities participating in the destination management in the region. Part of the thesis is a questionnaire survey realized in the segment of visitors of domestic tourism arriving in Příbramsko. Based on the synthesis of the results of the survey, both hypotheses related to the topic of the diploma thesis are rebutted and the profile of a typical visitor of the region of Příbram is compiled. At the end of the thesis, the findings of the questionnaire survey are summarized and the fulfillment of the goals of this diploma thesis is evaluated.
