Czech-German relationship in Hranice and victory of the Czech people of Hranice in the fight over the town hall in 1903
Abstract:
Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat situaci, kdy získávají Češi na hranické radnici většinu a kdy z voleb roku 1903 vzejde první český starosta Hranic. Pozornost je věnována také celkové situaci na Hranicku ve 2. polovině 19. století s ohledem na česko-německé vztahy v rámci školství, armády nebo spolkového života. Závěr práce je pak věnován samotnému průběhu voleb v Hranicích v roce 1903.
Abstract:
The object of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the situation while Czech people are getting majority in Hranice town hall and the first Czech mayor of Hranice is voted from the election in 1903. Attention is also paid for the general situation in Hranice in the second half of the 19th century in the consideration of Czech-German relations in educational, military and social framework.
