Pigmented surface treatment of casement windows

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem práce je pigmentová povrchová úprava špaletových oken z hlediska její stálosti a odolnosti vůči vnějším vlivům, zejména vodě a vzdušné vlhkosti. Literární část bakalářské práce k tématu špaletových oken uvádí; jejich historii, rozvoj, nátěry a jejich udržitelnosti na poli modernějších technologií. Dále se věnovala výrobním materiálům, technickým parametrům oken a problematice kondenzování vody ve špaletě. Pro praktickou část práce byly použity vzorky borovice (Pinus silvestris) dokončené disperzní vodou ředitelnou a rozpouštědlovou alkydovou nátěrovou hmotou. V bakalářské práci byly sledovány vlastnosti nátěrových hmot v souvislosti s povrchovou úpravou jednotlivých vzorků. Zkoumána byla především jejich propustnost vůči vodě a vlhkosti, odolnost k mechanickému poškození a jejich vizuální stránka. Výstupem je shrnutí vlastností ověřovaných nátěrových hmot a doporučení pro praxi z hlediska jejich použití.

Abstract:

The main topic of the work is a pigmented surface treatment of casement windows in terms of its stability and resistance to external influences, especially water and humidity. The literary part of the bachelor's thesis introduces the topic of casement windows, their history, development, coating and their sustainability in the field of modern technologies. Next, it focused on production materials, technical parameters of windows and the issue of water condensation in the lintel. Pine samples (Pinus silvestris) painted with water-dispersible and solvent-based alkyd paint were used for the practical part of the work,. The properties of paints in connection with the surface treatment of individual samples were monitored. Their permeability to water and moisture, resistance to mechanical damage and their visual aspect were examined in this bachelor's thesis. The output is a summary of the properties of verified paints and recommendations for practice in terms of their usage.
