Oral health care

Abstract:

Předmětem této práce je sledování dospělých jedinců v péči o jejich orální zdraví během posledních pěti let. Orální zdraví je v současné době velmi diskutovanou problematikou a dokazuje to i fakt, že tomuto tématu věnuje velkou pozornost Světová zdravotnická organizace. V teoretické části se věnuji stomatologii, její historii a náplni tohoto oboru. Dále definuji pojem orální zdraví. Základním poznatkem je anatomie zubu, parodontu a funkce sliny v dutině ústní. Popisuji i jejich možná onemocnění, jako jsou zubní kaz, parodontitida a další. Protože se tato onemocnění vyskytují velice často, je důležité upozornit na jejich prevenci - primární, sekundární a terciární. Uvádím zde také stav chrupu v populaci v České republice ve srovnání s jinými státy. Výzkum byl prováděn pomocí anonymních dotazníků a některé informace jsem doplňovala přímo z lékařské dokumentace. Ve výzkumné části jsem tyto informace zpracovala, popsala metodiku výzkumu a na jejich základě jsem vypracovala závěr přístupu dospělých jedinců v péči o orální zdraví.

Abstract:

The purpose of this work focuses on adults in the care of their oral health during the past five years. Oral health is currently very discussable issues and it proves the fact that this subject with great attention to the World Health Organization. The theoretical part is devoted to dentistry, its history and content of this field. It also defines the concept of oral health. The basic finding is the anatomy of the tooth and periodontal function of saliva in the mouth. I describe the possible diseases such as dental caries, periodontitis and others. Because these diseases occur very often, it is important to draw attention to their prevention - primary, secondary and tertiary. I present here the dental status of the population in the Czech Republic in comparison with other countries. The research was conducted using anonymous questionnaires and some complementary information was directly from the medical records. In part I compiled the following information, described the research methodology and on the basis of the approach I draw the conclusion of adults in the care of oral health.
