Analysis of managerial skills within selected company

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je Analýza manažerských dovedností v podniku. Cílem práce je analýza úrovně manažerských dovedností, a kterým z manažerských dovedností je ze strany úřadu přisuzován největší význam. Pro vypracování bakalářské práce jsem vybral Český statistický úřad. Bakalářská práce bude rozdělena do tří částí. V první, teoretické části práce, budu teoreticky popisovat pojmy, jako jsou management, manažer a manažerské dovednosti. V druhé, aplikační části práce, teoreticky popíši použité metody výzkumu. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření bude bakalářská práce u manažerů hodnotit úroveň jejich manažerských dovedností. Zároveň budou tyto dovednosti hodnotit i jejich podřízení. Dále bude obsahovat výstupy zjištěných poznatků o úrovni manažerských dovedností dle jednotlivých manažerských stupňů, jejich analýzu a zhodnocení. V závěru práce budou uvedeny návrhy opatření ke zlepšení stavu analyzovaných problémů. Tato zlepšení by mohla přispět k vyšší efektivitě manažerů.

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the Analysis of management skills in the company. The aim is to analyse the level of management skills and to determine which of management skills are considered the most important for the office. I chose the Czech Statistical Office as the subject of this bachelor thesis. Bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. In the first, theoretical part, I will describe theoretical concepts such as management, manager and managerial skills. In the second, application part, I will theoretically describe the research methods used. Using the questionnaire, the thesis will evaluate the level of managerial skills of the executives. These skills will besides be evaluated by their subordinates. The thesis will also include findings about the level of management skills by individual management levels, their analysis and evaluation. There will be suggestions for improvements of the state of the analysed problems stated in the conclusion of this thesis. These improvements could bring higher efficiency of the managers.
