Respite Services in the Context of Care for People with Combined Disabilities Focusing on the Respite Respit Service

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit přínos odlehčovací služby Respit pro pečující osoby u osob s kombinovaným postižením. V rámci výzkumu se zjišťovala psychická a fyzická zátěž pečující osoby v závislosti na využívání či nevyužívání služby, na pohlaví pečující osoby, na věku osoby, o kterou je pečováno a také porovnání psychické a fyzické zátěže před a po využívání odlehčovací služby Respit. Pro účely této diplomové práce byla zvolena kvantitativní metoda sběru dat s využitím techniky dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to find out the benefits of the Respite Respit Service for carers in people with combined disabilities. In the research the psychological and physical burden of the caregiver was determined depending on the use or non-use of the service, the caregiver's sex, the age of the person being cared for, and also the comparison of the mental and physical burden before and after the use of the Respite Respit Service. For the purposes of this thesis a quantitative method of data collection was chosen using the questionnaire survey technique.
