Some of the personal qualities of volunteers working with youth

Abstract:

Teoretická část je koncipována do tří kapitol. V první z nich se zabývám prosociálním chováním, ve druhé fenoménem dobrovolnictví a třetí kapitola je věnována neziskové organizaci Junák, svaz skautů a skautek ČR. Výzkumná část založená na metodách kvantitativního výzkumu se zabývá rozdíly v prosociálních charakteristikách mezi vedoucími skauty - dobrovolníky. Cíle: Cíl 1 Analyzovat prosociální osobnostní diference a jejich vztahy u dobrovolníků pracujících s mládeží v závislosti na pohlaví, věku, vzdělání, náboženské víře a dalších proměnných. Cíl 2. Ověřit existenci statisticky významných souvislosti mezi jednotlivými složkami morálního usuzování v závislosti na pohlaví. Cíl 3. Ověřit, jak prosociální rysy (O, M) souvisí se složkou empatie (EC, PT a PD) a subjektivně uváděným altruismem (SRA). Cíl 4. Ověřit předpoklad, zda ženy na rozdíl od mužů věří ve spravedlivý svět.

Abstract:

The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first one deals with prosocial behavior, in the second is devoted to the phenomenom volunteering and the third theoretical part is devoted to nonprofit organization, Association of Scout of the CR. The research part, based on the methods of quantitative research, is concerning differences in prosocial characteristics between the leaders of the Boy Scouts - volunteers. Objectives: Objective 1. Analyze the prosocial personality differences and their relationships with volunteers working with youth based on gender, age, education, religious beliefs and other variables. Objective 2. Verify the existence of a statistically significant link between the individual components moral reasoning in relation to sex. Objective 3. Check how prosocial traits (O, M) is related to the component of empathy (EC, PT, PD) and subjectively reported altruism (SRA). Objective 4. Check the assumption that women, unlike men believe in a fair world.
