Statement of cash flows – its relevance and view from the perspective of national and international accounting standards

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na detailní vymezení základních pojmů souvisejících s výkazem o peněžních tocích, metodami jeho sestavení a klasifikací peněžních toků. Obsahově práce vychází zejména z norem IAS 7, amerického ASC 230 a českých účetních předpisů, zejména CUS 023 a Vyhlášky č. 500/2002 Sb. Práce zkoumá, zda a případně jaké rozdíly lze pozorovat v přístupu jednotlivých účetních norem k problematice sestavení výkazu o peněžních tocích a v praktické části se zaměřuje na strukturu a odlišnosti třech v praxi sestavených výkazů a také položky, které nejsou typické v českém prostředí.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the detailed definition of basic concepts related to the statement of cash flows, methods of its compilation and classification of cash flows. Content is based mainly on the standards of IAS 7, US ASC 230 and Czech accounting regulations, especially CUS 023 and Decree 500/2002. The thesis examines whether and, if any, what differences can be observed in the approach of the individual accounting standards to the issue of the cash flow statement. The practical part focuses on the structure and the differences among three in practice prepared statements as well as items that are not typical in the Czech environment.
