The gross motor function in primary school children

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku hrubé motoriky dětí mladšího školního věku. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty poznatky o vývoji, řízení a dělení motoriky člověka se zaměřením na hrubou motoriku a možnosti jejího testování u dětí. Praktická část této práce je zaměřena na hodnocení kvantity i kvality hrubé motoriky u vzorku dětí v mladším školním věku za využití Nového testu (NT). Ten je tvořen čtyřmi motorickými úkoly a vznikl na základě dostupných standardizovaných motorických testů. Při hodnocení hrubé motoriky bylo zjištěno, že není možno jednoznačně stanovit rozdíl v kvantitě a kvalitě hrubé motoriky v mladším školním věku mezi skupinou dívky a chlapci, starší a mladší děti, a fyzicky aktivní a neaktivní děti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the question of the gross motor function in primary school children. The work is divided into two parts; theoretical, and practical. In the theory part, the development, control and division of motor function with regards to gross motor function and the possibilities of its testing with children is summarized. In the practical part, an evaluation of the quantity and quality of the gross motor function of a sample group of primary school children, using the New Test (Nový Test; NT), was conducted. The test consists of four motor exercises and it is based on the standardized motor tests available. While assessing the gross motor function, it was found that it is not possible to point out the differences between the quality and the quantity of the gross motor function between the groups of girls and boys, older and younger kids, or physically active and inactive subjects.
