Contractual Terms of Payment - Mitigation of Contractual Risks from the Buyers/Sellers and Payment Conditions Point of View

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na způsoby placení v mezinárodním obchodním styku, na používané platební podmínky a platební instrumenty. Teoretická část je věnována charakteristice platebních podmínek a kupní smlouvě jako důležité součásti obchodního styku. Dále jsou zmíněna rizika obchodního styku a jejich členění z pohledu prodávajícího a kupujícího a způsoby zajištění těchto rizik platebně-zajišťovacími instrumenty. Aplikační část je věnována obchodním případům a jejich průběhu, rizikovosti a způsobu zajištění možných rizik včetně analýzy rizik. V práci je zhodnocena hypotéza o nejvhodnější platební podmínce pro obchodní partnery z hlediska ošetření rizik v rámci mezinárodního obchodu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the methods of payment in international trade, the use of payment terms and payment instruments. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics and conditions of payment of the purchase agreement as an important part of business. Furthermore, there are mentioned risks of business relations and their classification from the perspective of the seller and buyer and the ways to ensure the suspension of payments risk-hedging instruments. The application part is devoted to business cases and their progress, the risk and method of potential risks, including the analysis of the risks. In this piece of writing there is evaluated the hypothesis of the best payment condition for business partners in terms of treating risks in international trade.
