Employing workers from third countries

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zaměstnáváním pracovníků ze třetích zemí. Cílem práce je analyzovat proces zaměstnávání pracovníků ze třetích zemí a charakterizovat nejčastější úskalí s tím spojená. Teoretická část se věnuje pracovní migraci a programům ekonomické migrace, představuje základní typy víz a pobytů na území ČR a zpracovává základní zákonné povinnosti zaměstnavatelů vůči státním institucím. Praktická část porovnává proces zaměstnávání tuzemského pracovníka a pracovníka ze třetí země ve vybrané společnosti. Cílem praktické části je demonstrovat rozdílnou administrativní náročnost a ukázat, jak v praxi probíhá proces zaměstnávání pracovníka ze třetí země a tuzemského pracovníka. Bakalářské práce zároveň poskytuje přehled veškerých povinností, poukazuje na rozdílnou administrativní a finanční náročnost, a proto může sloužit jako užitečný podklad pro zaměstnavatele při rozhodování, jestli je pro ně zaměstnávání pracovníků ze třetích zemí vhodné.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the employment of workers from third countries. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the process of employing workers from third countries and to characterize the most common difficulties associated with it. The theoretical part deals with labour migration and economic migration programmes, introduces the basic types of visas and stays on the territory of the Czech Republic and elaborates the basic legal obligations of employers towards institutions. The practical part of the thesis compares the process of employing domestic and third-country workers in a selected company and aims to demonstrate the different administrative complexity and to show how the process of employing a third-country foreigner and a domestic worker works in practice. The Bachelor's thesis also provides an overview of all the obligations, highlights the different administrative and financial demands and can therefore serve as a useful basis for employers when deciding whether employing third-country workers is suitable for them.
