Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá rolí vzpomínek v díle modernistické autorky Virginie Woolfové, konkrétně v dílech Paní Dallowayová a K Majáku. Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat využití paměti a vzpomínek ve zvolených dílech. V teoretické části je nastíněno modernistické pojetí času, paměť a její vliv na lidské vědomí a techniky, které modernističtí autoři při experimentování s časem a pamětí využívali. Druhá …more

This work deals with the role of memories in Virginia Woolf?s work, specifically in Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse. The main aim of the paper is to analyze the role and the use of memory in the chosen novels.
