Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou latentní kriminality a pojednává o možnostech jejího zjišťování. V práci dochází k vlastnímu empirickému šetření, které je provedeno formou viktimologické studie a je zaměřeno na město Varnsdorf. Cílem je zjistit, kolik obyvatel Varnsdorfu má vlastní zkušenost s trestnou činností v roli oběti, kolik z nich následně trestný čin oznámilo na Policii České republiky a jaké jsou hlavní důvody, proč nedochází k ohlašování trestných činů. Výstupem této práce je zjištění, jak vysoká je míra latentní kriminality na zkoumaném vzorku respondentů ve Varnsdorfu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issues of latent crime and discusses the possibilities of its detection. In the thesis there is an empirical research, which is done by means of a victimological study and is focused on the town of Varnsdorf. The aim is to find out how many inhabitants of Varnsdorf have experienced the role of a crime victim on their own, how many of them subsequently reported the crime to the Police of the Czech Republic and what the main reasons are for not reporting crimes. As a result of this work, I was able to determine the latent crime rate on the sample of respondents in Varnsdorf.
