Lobbying as a part of promoting interest, the possibility of using it in business practice

Abstract:

Lobbing je ve vyspělých zemích považován za legitimní činnost, která tvoří přirozenou součást demokratického rozhodovacího procesu. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na definování základních pojmů a činností v oblasti lobbingu a jeho praktické využití v podniku. V mé práci se snažím docílit úspěšného návrhu lobbingového procesu. Práce poukazuje na význam propojení lobbingových a obchodních činností a jejich společenský a ekonomický přínos pro firmu. Cílem této práce je nejen teoreticky vysvětlit pojem lobbing, navrhnout úspěšný lobbingový proces v konkrétním podniku, snažící se prosadit své zájmy, ale rovněž seznámit čtenáře s podnikatelskými misemi prezidenta České republiky, za účelem prezentace českých podniků v zahraničí. Díky odborné analýze v teoretické i analytické části jsme schopni dostat lobbingovou činnost do povědomí široké veřejnosti, aby se mezi sebou nepletly pojmy korupce a lobbing.

Abstract:

Lobbying in developed countries of the World is considered as legitimate activity that forms a natural part of the democratic structure of the state. This diploma thesis is focused on defining the basic concepts and activities in the field of lobbying and its practical usage in company. In my work I am trying to achieve a successful lobbying process. The work points out the importance of linking lobbying and business activities and their social and economic benefits for society and companies. The aim of this diploma thesis is not only to explain theoretically the concept of lobbying, project successful lobbying process in examined company that seeks to promote its interests, but also to acquaint readers with business missions of the President of the Czech Republic, in order to represent Czech companies in abroad. Thanks to the scientific analyzes in the theoretical and analytical part of the diploma thesis, we are able to get the attention of lobbying activities to the public and avoid the confusion between the concepts of corruption and lobbying.
