Modern Audit in Financial Institutions

Abstract:

Audit je v dnešní době nedílnou součástí fungování všech podniků a institucí. V turbulentní době, ve které se nyní nacházíme, je jeho funkce ještě podstatnější než kdy dříve. Trh je nasycen a podniky se potýkají s vysokou konkurencí a vysokými riziky podnikání. Z toho důvodu je cílem práce realizace auditu ve zvolené finanční instituci a navrhnout doporučení pro optimalizaci nynějšího stavu. K naplnění zvoleného cíle došlo za pomocí metod literární rešerše, sběru dat, analýzy dokumentů, dedukce, komparace a analýzy. Pomocí metod bylo zjištěno, že mezi rizikové faktory patří různorodost vzhledu poboček, absence letáků na pobočkách, nevyužívání reklamy v rádiu, vysoké ceny produktů a sociální sítě. K těmto rizikům byly stanoveny doporučení sjednotit vzhled poboček, tisknout letáky na pobočky, zřízení reklamy v rádiu a v rámci sociálních sítí zvýšit četnost příspěvků a dělat aktivity spojené se zvýšením dosahu. Pokud budou stanovená doporučení aplikována analyzovaná finanční instituce povede dál k prosperitě a dalšímu růstu.

Abstract:

Nowadays, audit is an integral part of the functioning of all companies and institutions. In the turbulent times we now find ourselves in, its function is even more essential than ever. The market is saturated and businesses face high competition and high business risks. For that reason, the aim of the work is to perform an audit in the chosen financial institution and propose recommendations for optimizing the current state. The chosen goal was fulfilled using the methods of literary research, data collection, document analysis, deduction, comparison and analysis. Using the methods, it was found that risk factors include the diversity of the appearance of the branches, the absence of leaflets at the branches, the lack of use of radio advertising, high product prices and social networks. For these risks, recommendations were made to unify the appearance of the branches, print leaflets at the branches, establish advertising on the radio and within social networks to increase the frequency of posts and do activities related to increasing the reach. If the established recommendations are applied, the analyzed financial institution will continue to lead to prosperity and further growth.
