The budget as a tool for indirect cost management in the enterprise

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Rozpočet jako nástroj pro řízení nepřímých nákladů podniku“ je analýza procesu řízení nepřímých nákladů ve společnosti Nestlé Česko s.r.o a Nestlé Slovensko, s.r.o. se zaměřením na jejich tři závody Sfinx, Zora a Carpathia. První část je zaměřena na teorii rozpočetnictví, stanovování odchylek a jejich kontroly. V druhé části charakterizuji zvolený subjekt, věnuji se vzájemnému porovnání struktury nákladů na zvolených závodech a následně podrobně rozebírám proces sestavování hlavního podnikového rozpočtu. Poté obracím svou pozornost na problematiku odchylek, jejich reportování a vymezení základních kritických bodů, jenž u každé z nich mohou v praxi vzniknout. Poslední část mé práce obsahuje návrhy zlepšení současného systému Nestlé Česko, s.r.o. a Nestlé Slovensko, s.r.o.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis "The budget as a tool for indirect cost managment in the enterprise" is to analyze the process of managing indirect costs in Nestlé Czech, s.r.o. and Nestlé Slovakia, s.r.o. I have focused on the three manufactoring facilities Sfinx, Zora and Carpatha. The first part of this thesis focuses on the process of budget planning, determining variations and their control. The second part describes the company itself. I have analisied and compared the actual cost structure of the three manufacturing facilities to the budget planning process at corporate level. Thereafter I have turned my attention to the issue of variations, definitions of its basic reporting and the basic critical points which may arise in practice. The last part of my thesis involves proposals of improvements of current systems at Nestlé Czech, s.r.o. and Nestlé Slovakia, s.r.o.
