Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje Bankovní unii. K vytvoření práce jsem vycházel z poznatků ze studia, knižních i elektronických publikací. Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je detailní představit Bankovní unii v EU, její zasazení do historického kontextu a nástin změn, které by členství v Bankovní unii přineslo členskému státu, který není součástí Eurozóny - např. České republiky. V teoretické části vysvětluji teoretické pojmy a východiska souvisejících s problematikou Bankovní unie. V práci jsou též popsány kompetence Bankovní unie, pilíře Bankovní unie, funkce Bankovní unie a jak Bankovní unie dohlíží nad bankami. Popsána je jednotná bankovní regulace a jednotný mechanismus pro řešení bankovních krizí. Poslední část práce byla zaměřena na skutečnosti, které mají pozitivní i negativní vliv, pokud by ČR vstoupila do Bankovní unie.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is about the European Banking Union. It is based on my knowledge from my studies, professional literature, and electronic publications. The main goal of this thesis is to introduce the reader to the details of the European Banking union, its placement in the historical context and an outline of changes that membership in the European Banking union would bring to a member state that is not part of the Eurozone - such as Czech Republic. In the theoretical part I am explaining the theoretical concepts and starting points related to the issues of the European Banking union. The thesis also describes the competencies of the European Banking union, the pillars of the Banking union, the functions of the Banking union and how the Banking union supervises banks. The thesis also describes single resolution mechanism and single supervisory mechanism for resolving banking crises. The last part of the thesis was focused on the positive and negative impacts if the Czech Republic would join the European Banking union.
