Information about the issue of disaster medicine and mass casualty in the Medical Rescue Service of the South Moravian Region

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit míru informovanosti členů výjezdových skupin Zdravotnické záchranné služby Jihomoravského kraje o problematice medicíny katastrof a hromadného postižení osob. Pro účely této práce bylo využito kvantitativního výzkumu. Ke sběru dat posloužilo dotazníkové šetření implementované mezi členy výjezdových skupin Zdravotnické záchranné služby JMK. Dílčí cíl práce měl za úkol poskytnout zkoumaná data Oddělení krizové připravenosti Zdravotnické záchranné služby JMK pro jeho účely v rámci projektu vzdělávání v roce 2023. Teoretická část definuje obor medicíny katastrof, vymezuje legislativní rámec a popisuje integrovaný záchranný systém (IZS) a jeho složky. Zevrubně se věnuje popisu činnosti Zdravotnické záchranné služby v rámci medicíny katastrof a hromadného postižení osob (HPO). Dále popisuje metodu výuky za pomocí softwaru XVR, která bude v rámci vzdělávání zaměstnanců Zdravotnické záchranné služby JMK zařazena do programu vzdělávání v problematice medicíny katastrof a HPO. Praktická část popisuje realizaci dotazníkového šetření, a interpretaci výsledků se závěrečnou diskusí.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to find out the level of awareness of the members of the South Moravian Region Medical Rescue Service's field teams about the issue of disaster medicine and mass casualty. For the purposes of this work, quantitative research was used. A questionnaire survey implemented among the members of the outing groups of the JMK Medical Rescue Service was used to collect data. The sub-goal of the work was to provide researched data to the Department of Crisis Preparedness to the Medical Rescue Service of JMK for its purposes as part of the education project in 2023. The theoretical part defines the field of disaster medicine, defines the legislative framework and describes the integrated rescue system (IZS) and its components. It thoroughly describes the activities of the Medical Rescue Service within the framework of disaster and mass casualty medicine (HPO). It also describes the method of teaching using the XVR software, which will be included in the education program in the field of disaster medicine and HPO as part of the training of employees of the JMK Medical Rescue Service. The practical part describes the implementation of the questionnaire survey and the interpretation of the results with a final discussion.
