Foreign trade between the Czech Republic and the People's Republic of China

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce byla analýza struktury importu a exportu mezi Českou republikou a Čínou v horizontu posledních 10 let a návrh řešení, který by pomohl zvýšit český export do Číny. V úvodní části se práce zaměřuje na ekonomickou charakteristiku obou zemí a posléze na vývoj jejich zahraničního obchodu. V další části je věnován prostor vývoji obchodních vztahů mezi ČR a Čínou, na který plynule navazuje třetí kapitola zaměřena na vzájemný obchod v letech 2004 2015. Tato kapitola představila aktuální trend ve vzájemném obchodě, zaměřila se na korelační analýzu obchodu a komoditní strukturu. V další části třetí kapitoly se práce věnovala spojení politiky a obchodu, kdy na základě stanovené hypotézy odpověděla na otázku, zda je mezi nimi zřetelná závislost nebo ne. V poslední kapitole se diplomová práce věnovala fungování obchodu v praxi. Byly popsány možnosti vstupu českých firem na čínský trh, problémy, se kterými se mohou setkávat a v poslední části byly na základě analýzy činnosti CzechTrade doporučeny kroky, které by mohly zefektivnit export do Číny.

Abstract:

The objective of diploma thesis was to analyse structure of import and expert between the Czech Republic and China during the last 10 years and suggest solution which could increase export to China. There is an economic characteristics and development of foreign trade of both countries in the introductory part. The next part is dedicated to the development of trade relations between Czech Republic and China, which fluently continues in the third chapter dedicated to the mutual trade between 2004 2015. This chapter introduced latest trends in mutual trade, has focused on the correlation analysis of the trade and commodity structure. The next part of the third chapter is devoted to connection between politics and business, based on the hypothesis it has answered the question of whether there is a clear dependence or not. The last part of the thesis has focused on the trade in practice. The possibilities of Czech companies entering the Chinese market and problems with which they can meet were described in the last chapter. Based on an analysis of CzechTrade activity, there were recommended steps that could lead to more effective export to China for Czech companies.
