The needs of victims of crimes with a focus on particularly vulnerable victims and their fulfillment by the police of the Czech Republic.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o zvlášť zranitelných obětech a naplňování jejich potřeb ze strany Policie ČR. Jejím cílem je analyzovat, zda je pomoc ze strany příslušníků policie včasná, vhodná a dostatečná. Vzhledem ke skutečnosti, že právě policisté v přímém výkonu služby jsou první, kdo přichází do kontaktu s traumatizovanými obětmi v bezprostřední fázi po spáchání trestného činu, je práce zaměřena na prvotní kontakt s obětí. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány nejdůležitější pojmy spojené s danou problematikou a vymezeny jednotlivé skupiny osob, které spadají do kategorie zvlášť zranitelných obětí trestných činů. Úvodem praktické části jsou specifikována jednotlivá práva obětí trestných činů dle příslušných zákonů s důrazem na zvlášť zranitelné oběti. Stěžejní částí práce je komplexní analýza dat získaných z dotazníkového šetření, kdy na základě zjištěných nedostatků je následně navrženo jejich možné řešení.

Abstract:

My bachelor's thesis is aimed at particularly volunerable victims as well as fulfilment of their needs from The Police point od view. The target of my thesis is to analyze the help provided by police officers to crime victims and to find out, whether it is well timed, suitable and sufficient. That is why I focused especially on officers who are the first to arrive at a crime scene and who are at the same time the first who deal with traumatized victims immediately after a crime is comitted. In the theoretical part of my thesis I specified the most important terms linked to the topic as well as I defined the groups of people who belong into the category of particularly volunerable victims. In the practical part of my thesis I specified the rights of crime victims in accordance to the Law, especially from the volunerable victims point of view. The main part of my thesis is the complex analyses of tha data gained from the answered questionnaire. Based on the found data I proposed possible solutions.
