The language and styl in the novel Past from Fráňa Šrámek

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Jazyk a styl Fráni Šrámka v románu Past“ sleduje individuální umělecký styl spisovatele Fráni Šrámka. Tento básník, prozaik a dramatik napsal mnoho známých a významných děl. V naší práci se zabýváme jeho méně známým a zároveň posledním vydaným románem Past. Celá práce je rozdělena na dvě části: literární a jazykový rozbor. V první části rozebíráme kompoziční principy a kompoziční postupy románu. V závěru této první kapitoly je Šrámkův román Past srovnán s autorovými dalšími díly. V jazykové části poukazujeme s pomocí příkladů na autorův jazyk, zaměřujeme se na expresivní a básnické výrazy, historismy, archaismy, na pásmo vypravěče a pásmo postav. V závěru druhé části práce jsou ještě uvedeny objektivní a subjektivní stylotvorné faktory.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis „The language and style in the novel Past by Fráňa Šrámek“ is focusing on individual artistic style of the writer Fráňa Šrámek. The poet, novelist, and dramatists (playwright) wrote many important works. In our thesis we deal with the lesser known and the last issued novel Past (Trap). The whole thesis is divided into two sections: literary analysis and linguistic analysis. In the first section we examine compositional principles and compositional procedures of the novel. At the end of the first section, Šrámek´s novel Past (Trap) is compared with author´s other work. By using examples in the linguistic section we show author´s language, we focus on expressive and poetic expressions, historicisms, archaisms, the narrator’s narrative and characters' narrative. Objective and subjective style making factors are also mentioned at the end of the second section of the thesis.
