The efficiency of acral rehabilitation on motor function in patients after stroke

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zhodnotit efektivitu a vliv neurofacilitačních technik ucelené rehabilitace s doplněnou zrcadlovou terapií na nezávislost, chůzi a jemnou motoriku v podsouboru se zrcadlovou terapií. Tento předpoklad jsme v podsouboru ověřili pomocí Devítikolíkového testu (NHPT) a Frenchayského testu paže (FAT), které jsme použili pro zjištění jemné motoriky a Testu rychlosti chůze na 3 metry (TUG) a Testu funkční nezávislosti (FIM), které jsme využili pro testování celkového motorického deficitu. Zjistěné výsledky byly statisticky významné. Výsledek u podsouboru bez zrcadlové terapie, kde jsme aplikovali neurofacilitační techniky ucelené rehabilitace, byl rovněž statisticky významný. Prokázali jsme tedy zlepšení funkce horní končetiny, nezávislosti a chůzi v obou souborech. Srovnání NHPT, FAT, TUG a FIM testu mezi podsoubory, jsme ale nezjistili statistickou významnost. Podsoubor, kde se navíc používala i zrcadlová terapie, nemá podle naší práce větší efekt než terapie neurofacilitačních technik ucelené rehablitace, která se využívala v podsouboru bez zrcadlové terapie.

Abstract:

A target of this thesis was to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of neurofacilitating techniques of medical rehabilitation supplemented with mirror therapy forindependence, walking and fine motor skills in subgroup with mirror treatment. We evaluated assumption by Nine Hole Peg Test (NHPT), Frenchay Arm Test (FAT), which we have used for finding fine motor skills and Timed Up And Go Test (TUG) and the Test of Functional Independence (FIM), which we have used for testing of total motoric deficit. The found results were statistically significant. The result in a file without mirror therapy where we applied neurofacilitating techniques of medical rehabilitation, was also statistically significant. So we proved the improvement in upper limb function, independence and walking in both groups. By comparing NHPT, FAT, FIM and TUG tests between subgroups, we did not find any statistical significance. The subgroup, where was mostly used also mirror therapy, has according to our thesis no greater effect than therapy techniques of neurofacilitating comprehensive rehabilitation, which was used in the subfile without mirror therapy.
