Abstract:
Bakalářská práce pojednává o Ústřední knihovně v ghettu Terezín, jejích pobočkách. Krátce se věnuje uvedení do historického kontextu židovství v Českých zemích a v Protektorátu Čechy a Morava, vzniku ghetta a jeho fungování. Také je vysvětlena důležitost knih, knihoven a čtenářství obecně pro Židy a jsou popsány kulturní a osvětové aktivity v ghettu, které činily ghetto snesitelnějším místem. Mezi …more
Abstract:
This bachelors thesis deals with the theme of the Terezín ghetto central library and its branch offices. First it briefly looks into the history of Judaism in Bohemia and later in Protectorat of Bohemia and Moravia, founding of the Ghetto and it’s operation.
