Autonomous stock exchange trading agent

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je vytvoření trojice technologicky různých agentů, kteří budou schopni na základě predikce cen akcií na trhu autonomně provádět příkazy na burze. Bakalářská práce se skládá z teoretické, metodické, praktické a evaluační části. V teoretické části se práce věnuje východiskům v oblastech umělé inteligence, ekonomiky a statistiky, kde popisuje současné teorie pro predikci cen na akciovém trhu. V metodické části se práce věnuje použitým technologiím ke konstrukci agentů, porovnává strategie obchodování na burze a předkládá základní statistické modely pro predikci časové řady, které figurují jako východiska pro konstrukci agentů. V praktické části práce popisuje postup při tvorbě konstrukcí agentů. V návrzích konstrukcí agentů se práce zaobírá využitím primitivního přístupu tvořeného if/then pravidly a dvojicí využívajících formy strojového učení, konkrétně LightGBM a hluboké neuronové sítě. V evaluační části práce analyzuje výsledky konstrukcí agentů a předkládá diskuzi o budoucí práci v této problematice.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to create a trio of technologically different agents that will be able to autonomously execute orders on the stock market based on stock price predictions. The bachelor thesis consists of theoretical, methodological, practical, and evaluation parts. In the theoretical part, the thesis explores the background in the fields of artificial intelligence, economics, and statistics, describing current theories for stock market price prediction. In the methodological part, the thesis discusses the technologies used to construct agents, compares stock trading strategies, and presents basic statistical models for time series prediction that act as starting points for an agent construction. The practical part of the paper describes the procedure for constructing agents. In designing agent constructions, the thesis discusses the use of a primitive approach consisting of if/then rules and a pair using forms of machine learning, namely LightGBM and deep neural networks. In the evaluation section, the thesis analyses the results of agent constructions andpresents a discussion of future work in this area.
