Creation, implementation and evaluation of socio-activating program for families of twins

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce byla problematika sociální pomoci rodinám s dvojčaty a vícerčaty, v praktické části pak výzkumně zaměřená na vyhodnocení fungování pilotního ročníku sociálně aktivizačního programu Asistent do rodiny, který je realizován občanským sdružením Klub dvojčat a vícerčat Plzeň. Teoretická část směřovala od obecného vymezení teoretických koncepů ke konkrétním pojmům nezbytným pro pochopení praktické části ? tedy prováděného výzkumného šetření. Diskutovány byly pojmy náročný životní situace rodin dvojčat a vícerčat, občanský sektor a dobrovolnictví v něm. Popsány byly organizace pomáhající rodinám s dvojčaty a vícerčaty a v neposlední řadě program Asistent do rodiny, jehož se týkalo prováděné výzkumné šetření. V praktické části byla popsána metodologie výzkumného šetření. Hlavním výzkumným cílem bylo ?zjistit míru spokojenosti s dosavadním fungováním programu.? Výzkumné šetření bylo prováděno 3 výzkumnými metodami (polostrukturovaný rozhovor, dotazník, analýza dokumentů), na jejichž základě byla zjištěna spokojenost s programem, byly odhaleny kladné stránky programu a zároveň i některé nedostatky. Z tohoto důvodu byla v závěru předkládané bakalářské práce navržena doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The main topic of this bachelor thesis was the issue of social assistance to families with twins and multiples, in it?s practical / research part aimed to evaluate the pilot year social activization program ?Assistant to the family? functioning, which is implemented by the Civic Association of twins and multiples - Club Plzen. The theoretical part is facing away from the general definition of theoretical concepts to specific concepts necessary for understanding the practical ? research part. Concepts discussed were demanding life situation of families of twins and multiples, civil sector and volunteering in it. Organizations described were those helping families with twins and multiples, and last but not least the program ?Assistant to the family?, which is covered by the research. The practical part describes the research methodology. The main research objective was to "determine the level of satisfaction with the current operation of the program." The survey was carried out three research methods (semi-structured interview, questionnaire, document analysis), on the basis of which there was found out the satisfaction with the program and there were identified positive aspects of the program and also some shortcomings. For this reason, the conclusion presented in the thesis suggests recommendations for practice.
