Abstract:

Práce se věnuje finanční analýze podniku Autocentrum ESA a.s. První část tvoří charakteristika teoretického základu – podstaty a metodického aparátu finanční analýzy. Následuje představení vybraného podniku, odvětví a hlavního konkurenta. Jádrem praktické části diplomové práce je provedení finanční analýzy na vybraném podniku v letech 2005 – 2012. Finanční analýza zahrnuje zejména výpočet absolutních ukazatelů, poměrových ukazatelů, bankrotních modelů a další metody finanční analýzy. Výsledky finanční analýzy se srovnávají s dostupnými informacemi o odvětví ojetých vozů a zejména s konkurenčním podnikem a hodnotami z jeho finanční analýzy v letech 2007 - 2012. Cílem práce je komplexní posouzení finančního zdraví podniku a odhalení jeho silných a slabých stránek. Na základě zjištěných skutečností se v závěru doporučují opatření pro eliminaci slabých stránek.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the financial analysis of Autocentrum ESA a.s. company. The theoretical part reviews essential points of financial analysis and the methods which it uses. The next part of the thesis introduces the company, its branch of industry and its main competitor. The practical part applies the chosen methods to carry out the financial analysis of the company in the time period 2005 – 2012. The financial analysis is based on horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, financial ratios, predictions of corporate bankruptcy and on other methods. The obtained results are then compared with available figures about the branch and the main competitor in the time period 2007 – 2012. The objective is to assess the company’s financial results extensively and to define its strengths and weaknesses.
