Teaching Aid for Microcontrollers Course - Mobile Robot\nl{}

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá návrhem a konstrukcí jednoduchého mobilního robota použitelného pro výukové účely. V teoretické části je popsáno využití a rozdělení robotů dle různých hledisek. Důraz je kladen na práci s mobilními roboty jako učebními pomůckami při studiu programování mikropočítačů. V praktické části této práce je ukázka sestavení mobilního robota na bázi open-source platformy Arduino. Cílem celé práce je umožnit studentům praktické a zábavné vyzkoušení ovládání a naprogramovaní mobilního robota a pochopit vzájemnou vazbu mezi elektronickými a mechanickými díly.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and construction of a primitive robot usable for educational purposes. In the theoretical part the use and division of robots is described from various perspectives. The emphasis is placed on the work with mobile robots in the role of educational instrument for students of microcomputers programming. In the practical part of this thesis there is an illustration of mobile robot assemblage on the basis of open-source platform Arduino. The goal of this thesis is to enable students to try to control and programme mobile robot in a practical and entertaining way and to understand the mutual relation between electronic and mechanical parts.
