This thesis deals with the hard-boiled and cosy mystery detective fiction, two subgenres of detective fiction popular in the period between the two world wars. The aim of this thesis is to provide an analysis of both subgenres and their comparison. Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje drsné a anglické škole detektivní literatury, dvěma subžánrům, které byly populární v období mezi světovými válkami. Cílem této práce je tyto subžánry analyzovat a porovnat je. Aby se zúžila oblast zájmu, zabýváme se pouze díly z meziválečného období, protože tato éra odpovídá období jejich největšího vývoje.
