Abstract:

V dnešní době, s rychlým vývojem technologií a narůstající konkurencí, je nezbytné zlepšovat procesy v rámci likvidace pojistných událostí, aby podniky udržely svou konkurenceschopnost a účinně reagovaly na požadavky trhu. V současném podnikovém prostředí je Self Service Business Intelligence jedním z pokračujících trendů, který nabývá na významu vzhledem k rostoucí potřebě efektivního zpracování dat. Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na návrh a implementaci řešení pro větší podnik, s cílem vytvořit reportovací systém, který zlepší informovanost o problematice likvidace pojistných událostí a zajištění plynulé dostupnosti dat pro odběratele. Po teoretickém úvodu do oblasti Business Intelligence a řízení BI projektů, práce představuje analýzu požadavků, datových zdrojů a implementaci reportingu. Datový sklad je naplněn a nad ním je navržena a implementována analytická vrstva a reporty odpovídající požadavkům podniku. Práce také zahrnuje stanovení výzkumné otázky a její potvrzení či vyvrácení prostřednictvím statistické analýzy, což ukazuje další analytický potenciál získaných dat. Závěrem práce je doporučení pro rozšíření a praktické využití navrženého řešení jako efektivního moderního nástroje.

Abstract:

In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape and increasing competition, it is essential to improve processes within insurance claims management to maintain business competitiveness and effectively respond to market demands. In the current business environment, Self Service Business Intelligence is an ongoing trend that gains importance due to the growing need for efficient data processing. This master's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a solution for a larger enterprise, aiming to create a reporting system that enhances the understanding of insurance claims management issues and ensures seamless data availability for users. Following a theoretical introduction to the field of Business Intelligence and BI project management, the thesis presents the analysis of requirements, data sources, and reporting implementation. The data warehouse is populated, and an analytical layer and reports corresponding to the company's requirements are designed and implemented over it. The thesis also includes the formulation of a research question and its confirmation or refutation through statistical analysis, demonstrating the further analytical potential of the obtained data. In conclusion, the thesis recommends the expansion and practical use of the proposed solution as an efficient modern tool.
