The level of motor preconditions in children in nursery school

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá úrovní motorických schopností a dovedností u dětí v předškolním věku dle testové baterie MABC-2, při které je záměrem ověření a srovnání kros-kulturní validity pro celkové zhodnocení motoriky u českých dětí v porovnání s výsledky v jednotlivých motorických testech u standardizačního souboru britských dětí. Dále se v této práci budu zabývat analýzou výše uvedené validity MABC-2 na základě zhodnocení míry ekvivalence a jedinečnosti jednotlivých testových úloh včetně prezentace získaných výsledků, kdy bylo po realizaci samotného testování dětí a zaznamenání naměřených hodnot zjištěno, že metodika pro výpočet zaznamenaných hodnot podle metodiky MABC-2 není dostupná, respektive dostupná je, avšak za velmi vysokou cenu. Během výzkumu byla navštívena mateřské škola, kde byly děti rozděleny do dvou skupin. Při psaní této práce byla zakoupena příručka MABC-2. Empirická část této práce byla provedena formou kvantitativního výzkumu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the level of motor abilities and skills in children of preschool age according to the MABC-2 test battery, in which the purpose is to verify and compare the cross-cultural validity for the overall evaluation of motor skills in Czech children in comparison with the results in individual motor tests of the standardization set of British children. Furthermore, in this work I will deal with the analysis of the above-mentioned MABC-2 validity based on the evaluation of the degree of equivalence and uniqueness of individual test tasks, including the presentation of the obtained results, when after the implementation of the actual testing of the children and the recording of the measured values, it was found that the methodology for calculating the recorded values according to the methodology MABC-2 is not available, or rather it is available, but at a very high price. During the research, a kindergarten was visited, where the children were divided into two groups. The MABC-2 manual was purchased while writing this thesis. The empirical part of this work was carried out in the form of quantitative research. Key words: motor development, fine motor, gross motor, balance, coordination, validity, children.
