Statistical assessment of static and dynamic aspects of gait of a healthy individual.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu statistických aspektů chůze u zdravých jedinců, a to jak z hlediska statických, tak dynamických aspektů. Hlavním cílem je hlouběji prozkoumat rozložení tlaků na plantární ploše chodidla při statickém postoji a při nášlapu na patu při chůzi. Součástí tohoto cíle je porovnání těchto naměřených aspektů mezi muži a ženami. Studie se zúčastnilo 25 probandů z řad studentů Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve věku 18 až 25 let. Statické aspekty jsou podrobně zkoumány s ohledem na distribuci hmotnosti v jednotlivých kvartilech, zatímco dynamické aspekty jsou analyzovány z hlediska rozložení tlaku na mediální a laterální straně paty. Pro sběr dat byly použity nástroje podoskop Podo4Foot CAM a klíčovým nástrojem byla platforma Footscan. Výsledky tohoto výzkumu nabízejí srovnání těchto aspektů chůze mezi muži a ženami.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of statistical aspects of gait in healthy individuals, both in terms of static and dynamic aspects. The main objective is to further investigate the distribution of pressures on the plantar surface of the foot during static stance and heel strike during gait. Part of this aim is to compare these measured aspects between men and women. Twenty-five probands from students of Tomas Baťa University aged 18 to 25 years participated in the study. Static aspects are examined in detail with respect to weight distribution in each quartile, while dynamic aspects are analyzed in terms of pressure distribution on the medial and lateral side of the heel. The Podo4Foot CAM tools were used for data collection and the Footscan platform was the key tool. The results of this research offer a comparison of these aspects of gait between men and women.
