Influence of body height on kinematic and kinetic parameters during landing after block in volleyball

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit rozdíly vybraných kinematický a kinetických parametrů doskoku po volejbalovém bloku v závislosti na rozdílné výšce hráčů. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo devatenáct hráček, které byly rozděleny do dvou výškových skupin. První skupina do 180 cm (8 hráček; věk 23,3 ? 2,5 let; tělesná výška 177,1 ? 2,6 cm; tělesná hmotnost 68,6 ? 3,3 kg) a druhá skupina nad 181 cm (11 hráček; věk 21,2 ? 3,0 let; tělesná výška 183,7 ? 2,1 cm; tělesná hmotnost 75,1 ? 5,1 kg). Pro měření reakčních sil na podložce byly použity dvě silové plošiny (Kistler, 9286 AA, Švýcarsko) zabudované v podlaze. Kinematická data byla získána pomocí systému kinematické analýzy (Qualisys Oqus, Švédsko). Byla použita 3D kinematická analýza s modelem dolních končetin a trupu, který je definován 26 reflexními body umístěných na těle subjektu dle doporučení C-motion Company (C-motion, Rockville, MD, USA. Nebyl zjištěn věcně významný rozdíl u sledovaných proměnných mezi oběma skupinami hráček. Tělesná výška nemá vliv na vybrané kinematické a kinetické parametry při doskoku po bloku ve volejbale.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor´s thesis is to find the differences of selected kinematic and kinetic parameters of landing after a volleyball block depending on the players´ height. The research sample consisted of nineteen female players who were divided into two height groups. The first group up to 180 cm ( 8 female players, age 23.3 ? 2.5 years, body height 177.1 ? 2.6 cm, body weight 68.6 ? 3.3 kg) and the second group above 181 cm ( 11 players , age 21.2 ? 3.0 years, body height 183.7 ? 2.1 cm, body weight 75.1 ? 5.1 kg). Two force plates (Kistler, 9286 AA, Switzerland) integrated in the floor were used to measure the reaction forces. Kinematic data were obtained using the kinematic analysis (QualisysOqus, Sweden). It was used 3D kinematic analysis model of the lower limbs and trunk, which is defined by 26 reflex points located on the body of the subject, as recommended by C - motionCompany (C -motion, Rockville , MD, USA).There were no significant findings of differences in the variables between the two groups of female players. Body height does not affect the selected kinematic and kinetic parameters during landing after volleyball block.
